The Hunt Begins.

I am looking at an apartment this weekend - and in a prime place! I hope it's what I'm looking for - and if it is, I am definitely purchasing a cute vegan keyring to put my new keys on! Wish me lotsa luck. I need it. Pickle and banana key rings via Majesty Inc.

Spring Fever.

The weather this past weekend was amazing - even though they told us it was going to rain. Lies, all lies! I managed to fit in a trip to Target with my bff as well as a very successful trip to Kohl's. I scored one of the Vera Wang silk skirts for only $40. But most importantly, I spent lots of time with my Mother. (We saw Made of Honor - save it for netflix). But my most important discovery of the weekend has been this: I currently look like a bronze goddess because of it.

Home Sweet Home.

How great is this rug I spotted thanks to design*sponge. It is very a propos since I'm headed home to CT for the weekend to spend time with family and friends. See ya on Monday! Cheers.

Highlights.

What an exhausting, fun weekend. Friday night was an evening to remember in NYC - a bunch of friends and I went to a fireman drinkup. I still can't decide if it was a great or awful decision. On Saturday I went to CT to see my BFF on her bday - and her amazing man was there too. Then last night my friends and I ate dinner at this marvelous restaurant and decided to walk about 60 blocks home. I had the famous spaghetti and meatballs, but I gotta say, not as good as my Dad's.

Wknd Time.

Hope it's a good one. I'm out for some jazz and wine tonight with the ladies - and a birthday brunch for my favorite person EVER tomorrow morning. See you on Monday! (photo from a-peril)

Museum.

The best thing hands down about living in NYC is the art scene. Hands. Down. A few weekends ago my friend Nan and I went to a few galleries in Chelsea (including the Sartorialist exhibit which was fab) and this weekend our goal is the Met. I haven't been since we studied art history as undergrads together (for shame, I know) so I'm excited. Plus - Jasper Johns has an exhibit, whom I love. This particular exhibit focuses on his "gray" period, which is very a propos because it reflects my current mood and the snowy weather. (Below: Periscope)

Oh 3- Day Weekends.

How I love thee. I was home in CT this past weekend to see my family, my dog, and do some shopping with Pursmell. I really got some great steals at Target and Gap - but my favorite find of all? These shoes. I hear enchanted music when I look at them. Plus I am the perfect height with them on - 5'9" - HOLLA!!!! Last night I saw the Spice Girls perform at MSG. It was a really fun time. And get excited: a sneak peek of what I wore to the concert will be posted tonight!

Weekend Love.

I've added a new category to my blog: weekends. I tend to do lots of things I want to talk about on weekends, but I never get around to it. This new category will force me to chat about my weekend excursions. I was back in CT to see Watty and do some Target shopping. I bought these fab shoes for $7 along with some party decor for Porkchop. I also saw 27 Dresses (eh) and bought this book that Cait raved about. That is all. This is a boring weekend to kick off the new category with but oh well! I've got lots of exciting ones to come -- oh just you wait!
