Green Santa.

I just read a lovely review via green guide about this new book called "When Santa Turned Green". It sounds really cute - Santa tries to get to the source of why the North Pole begins melting! I've gotta pick it up and give it a read.

Sneaky Peeky.

Here's a sneak peek of one of the items I sent my book swap partner... I wanted to photograph the package I sent her but I didn't want to ruin the surprise completely! The Listography Journal is for freaks and geeks like me that are obsessed with making lists. This quirky book already has list titles for you to fill out - and it almost turns out to be an autobiography! I hope she enjoys it (and I hope she's a list nut like me!) Buy the book here.

I'm hosting a Fall Book Swap - and for those of you who are interested, it's going to be really great! All you have to do is mail out two really great books (though you are welcome to send as many as you'd like!) that you are currently enjoying. The books can be cookbooks, romance novels, children's books, autobiographies - pick your poison. I will try to match people up accordingly based on interests. A to Z.

I've decided to get a bookshelf to separate the eating area from the living room in the apartment. I've been searching Craigslist for a good one. I'm excited to display all my beautiful books on it - and I think these bookends would certainly add to the decor. Ikea has the shelf I really want, but I refuse to waste hours of my life putting it together piece by piece.
